Kinsey's Pharmacy was founded by Robert Kinsey, RPh in 1979. After graduating from pharmacy school at the University of Texas in 1966, Mr. Kinsey served as a pharmacist in other cities before returning to his home town of Tyler in 1975. After a few successful years back in his home town and establishing business relationships, he ventured out on his own to open Kinsey's Pharmacy at its first location on Loop 323. As traffic on the loop increased and Tyler grew, so did business, allowing for new opportunities and a brand new pharmacy location on Kinsey Drive. ln June 2004, Kinsey's Pharmacy made the move to 4290 Kinsey Drive to its new facility, complete with Drive-thru and fully equipped compounding lab. Kinsey's Pharmacy focuses on building relationships with fast professional service you can trust.
In 2012 Brad Martin, PharmD. was given the opportunity by Robert to join the Kinsey’s family. Brad received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Texas Tech University in 2009 and moved to Tyler the same year with his wife Amy (who is also a pharmacist). Robert generously mentored Brad in the art of compounding and how to run an independent pharmacy. In 2015 Brad and Amy were fortunate enough to be able to purchase the business. Robert continues to work as a consultant and pharmacist at the pharmacy. Brad and Amy are committed to continuing the tradition of exemplary service that Robert has established.
