Kinsey's Pharmacy offers a specialized service called compounding. Compounding is making medicine more people friendly. If a certain dose is no longer available we can prepare just the right dose for you, per your Doctors instructions. This way you don't take too much or too little.

Many times both children and adults will find the flavor of a medicine to be disagreeable. When this is the case we can add flavor to make the taste more palatable.

Sometimes an allergy can exist with certain non-active filler materials, excipeints and dyes. When faced with this problem we can prepare medicines that are free of the patients known allergy.

If you need a different dosage form, such as a liquid for those with difficulty swallowing or a suppository or other dosage form we can prepare just the right medicine form you need.

Occasionally a medicine with limited demand will be removed from production by the pharmaceutical companies. If we can still obtain the basic form of this drug we can compound a prescription to contain the correct amount of the medicine as in its original form.
